FAMNET MUST DO’S

Here are a few I am requiring for all members to do. These are things that are easily done and make my job MUCH easier.

1) Make sure your mailbox is empty or at least empty enough to accept more emails! AOL members have small mailboxes. On any given day there are quite a few that have full mailboxes. I have to make the decision to unsubscribe them or leave them on and deal with the bounce messages. Either way it is a lot of unnecessary work.

2) Unsubscribing correctly - there are a number of emails that explain how to unsubscribe. When the messages about unsubscribing are put on the family net you need to save that message for the time when you need to unsubscribe for reference. There is also a webpage set up http://www.falconpride.com/unsubscribe.html to explain all of it and makes it very easy by a click of the mouse. Please add this webpage to your bookmarks/favorite websites. When the unsubscribe is done correctly you will get a message back from the listserv saying your unsubscribe was successful. 3) Resubscribing - please email me at info@falconpride.com to resubscribe. Make sure you tell me you want to resubscribe so I don't have to ask you for all the info on your affiliation. Again please send it to info@falconpride.com and no other address.

4) Read the rotators at the bottom of the messages. Sometimes they will be switched to the top. They were done for the membership so please make sure you know what they say as they are the guidelines of the family net. They may seem boring but they are important to the running of the family net so be aware of what they say.
